What a painting is, exactly
- One painting
- One line, photograph or drawing, taken by three painters at once. Three frames come back; you hang one. A plan counts that as one painting, whichever frame you hang.
- What you keep
- Sitter keeps the hung frame at full size with no mark. Collector and Patron keep all three. A painting that fails before any frame finishes costs nothing and is credited back.
- Rolling over
- Paintings you do not use this month are still yours next month. A cancelled plan keeps the balance it was granted; nothing already painted is taken back.
- Without a plan
- The hung frame, full size and unmarked, is $19; all three frames $29; a Masterpiece (a typed line or a drawing, never a photograph) $15. Prints and canvases are priced on the order page.
- A palette of your own
- Patron samples five swatches from a painting you have hung, names it, and paints with it from then on. It stays yours after the plan ends.
- Billing
- Monthly, by Stripe, in US dollars. Cancel from Manage, any time; the month you paid for runs out before anything stops. A person answers the mail at paintedalways@gmail.com.
